KEC International Limited has secured a major transmission and distribution order in Saudi Arabia as part of new international order worth Rs 14.76 billion. The contract covers development of 380 kV overhead transmission lines along with associated substations and extra high voltage cabling works. The project is aimed at supporting expansion and strengthening of Saudi Arabia’s electricity transmission network to meet rising power demand and long-term infrastructure requirements.
