Patel Engineering Limited has secured a letter of award (LoA) from Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited for Package I of the Renuka Ji dam project in Himachal Pradesh.
The contract is worth Rs 9.1 billion and is to be completed within 30 months. The package covers construction of three diversion tunnels of 9.5 metre diameter and lengths ranging from 1.3 km to 1.6 km, along with inlet and outlet structures, around 6 km of approach and access roads, hydro-mechanical systems for flow regulation, and instrumentation and monitoring systems.
