Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has secured a contract to Kuwaiti Power Grid Company for a 400 kV overhead transmission line associated with the Al Shaqaya solar power station. The KWD 48.6 million contract covers the installation of the transmission line to connect the solar power station to the Al Wafra (Z) main substation, enabling evacuation of renewable energy into the national grid.
