Burra Vamsi Rama Mohan has assumed charge as new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID).
Prior to this, he was serving as Director (Projects) in the same organisation. With over 33 years of rich and diverse experience in the power transmission and telecom sectors, he has held several key leadership, policy-making, and strategic roles at both regional and corporate level in POWERGRID. He is a graduate in engineering and holds a post graduate diploma in planning and project management along with a post graduate diploma in management from the Management Development Institute, Gurugram.
