Serentica Renewables has signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with Sanathan Polycot Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sanathan Textiles Limited, for the supply of 32 MW of hybrid round-the-clock renewable energy.
A special purpose vehicle has been set up for the project, with Sanathan Polycot holding a 26 per cent stake and Serentica Renewables the remaining 74 per cent. The project will supply clean power to Sanathan Polycot’s manufacturing facility in Punjab, helping the company secure reliable and cost-efficient green energy, reduce the emissions intensity of its operations, and improve long-term visibility on power costs.
