The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a private agency to set up 25 battery swapping stations across the city to support electric vehicle adoption and reduce air pollution.
Under the 10-year arrangement, the agency will undertake the installation, testing, operation and maintenance of the stations, while MCG will provide land and the required permissions.
