Sunsure Energy has signed three solar open access power purchase agreements (PPA) with Wonder Cement to supply renewable energy across Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.
The agreements cover a total of 30 MWp of solar capacity, with power being supplied to Wonder Cement’s facilities in Dhule and Aligarh from Sunsure Energy’s 150 MWp Solapur project and 49 MWp Augasi project respectively. The arrangement is expected to reduce carbon emissions by about 33,000 tonnes annually, while renewable energy is set to meet around 67 per cent of electricity demand at the Dhule facility and 52 per cent at the Aligarh facility.
