SAEL Industries has commissioned a 600 MW solar power project in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
The project has been developed through two 300 MW units by the company’s subsidiaries, SAEL Solar MHP1 Private Limited and SAEL Solar MHP2 Private Limited, and is spread across more than 2,400 acres. It will supply power to the national grid under a 25-year power purchase agreement with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited. The project uses over 1.2 million tunnel oxide passivated contact bifacial modules manufactured at its facilities in Punjab and Rajasthan.
