The Chugoku Electric Power and TODA Corporation have acquired shares in Asia Wind Power Limited, joining Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Limited and Hokutaku Limited as investors in the Masuda-Hikimi Wind Power Project in Shimane Prefecture.
The project involves the development of an onshore wind farm in Hikimi-cho, Masuda City, with 13 wind turbines of 4,200 kW each, taking total planned capacity to 54,000 kW.
