Evren has secured about USD 600 million in funding for a 1 GW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) hybrid project spanning Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan.
The project is backed by a power purchase agreement with NTPC Limited for a contracted capacity of 300 MW, will combine solar, wind and battery energy storage to supply firm renewable power. It is scheduled for commissioning in 2027 and is expected to generate about 2,400 GWh annually.
