Saatvik Green Energy has acquired an 80 per cent equity stake in Melcon Transformers and Electricals Private Limited through a share purchase agreement.
Melcon manufactures a range of transformers for transmission and distribution applications, including oil-type, dry-type, auxiliary and energy-efficient transformers.
The acquisition is aimed at strengthening Saatvikâs presence across the power value chain and improving execution, quality control and supply chain resilience.
