Reportedly, Adani Green Energy Limited has planned to invest around Rs 150 billion to add over 10 GWh of battery energy storage system capacity in 2026-27, as it expands its focus on reliable and dispatchable renewable power.
The proposed addition will be over and above the nearly 3 GWh of installed storage capacity that the company expects to achieve shortly at Khavda in Gujarat, following the commissioning of 1.4 GWh in 2025-26.
