ReNew Energy Global Plc is set to establish a 6.5 GW solar ingot-wafer manufacturing facility in Anakapalli district near Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
The project entails an investment of Rs 42 billion and is expected to be commissioned within 24 months. It forms part of ReNew’s larger investment commitment of around Rs 820 billion in Andhra Pradesh through memoranda of understanding signed to support the state’s clean energy and manufacturing ecosystem.
