Reliance Industries Limited is set to invest Rs 1,600 billion to set up a 1.5 GW artificial intelligence data centre cluster and an associated captive solar battery storage system in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
The project is expected to be India’s largest data centre cluster. Of the total proposed investment, around Rs 1,080 billion will be deployed for the data centre cluster, while Rs 513 billion will be invested in the associated renewable energy project.
