South Korea’s Korea Electric Power Corporation and Vietnam National Industry and Energy Group have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for potential cooperation in new nuclear power development in Vietnam. The agreement provides a framework for the possible entry of Korean-designed nuclear power plants into Vietnam. Under the memorandum of understanding, the two entities will collaborate on nuclear supply chain development and project viability analysis for the Ninh Thuan 2 nuclear power project.
