AMPIN commissions 500 MWp wind-solar hybrid project in Rajasthan

AMPIN Energy Transition has commissioned around 500 MWp of interstate transmission system-connected wind-solar hybrid capacity at Fatehgarh in Barmer, Rajasthan.

The project comprises around 400 MWp of solar capacity and 100 MW of wind capacity, and is one of AMPIN’s largest co-located hybrid projects on the interstate transmission system network. It will supply power to state distribution companies under Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited Tranches III and V, as well as commercial and industrial consumers, including Samsung Electronics and Bharti Airtel. The project supports the expansion of AMPIN’s hybrid portfolio to over 2 GW.
