Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MP Transco) has installed and energised a new 200 MVA power transformer at the 220 kV Manglia substation in Indore to ensure reliable and quality power supply for the Indore Metro Rail Project.
Despite several technical challenges in a densely populated urban area like Indore, the project marks a significant achievement towards strengthening the city’s power infrastructure in line with the requirements of the metro project. Following the installation of this power transformer, Indore city’s total transformation capacity has increased to 4652 MVA.
