Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power, has approved the adoption of the photovoltaic (PV) ingot and wafer manufacturing business line.
Furthermore, investment in the new line will be around Rs 65 billion for 10 GW ingot-wafer manufacturing capacity. The capacity will be built in two phases of 5 GW each. The project is also aligned with national manufacturing priorities, enabling the company to benefit from policy incentives and demand protection mechanisms.
