Solex Energy Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Gujarat government to set up an integrated renewable energy manufacturing facility in the state at a proposed investment of around Rs 40 billion.
Under the agreement, Solex Energy will set up a 5 GW solar cell manufacturing unit, to be developed in two phases of 2 GW and 3 GW. It will also set up a 10 GW battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing facility.
