Apple and CleanMax have entered into a strategic co-investment partnership to accelerate decarbonisation in India’s commercial and industrial segment through scaled renewable energy deployment.
Apple’s initial investment of Rs 1 billion will support the development of over 150 MW of new renewable energy capacity, with an opportunity for further expansion in the coming years. The partnership aims to scale renewable energy adoption across Apple’s supply chain in India and builds on the companies’ earlier co-investment partnership supporting Apple’s India operations.
