Pace Digitek has secured battery energy storage system (BESS) supply, erection and long-term operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) for the implementation of a 250 MW/500 MWh BESS project at Maithon, Jharkhand.
The contracts have a combined value of Rs 7,020 million. They comprise supply, engineering, procurement and construction services, and long-term operation & maintenance (O&M) works. The scope includes design, engineering, manufacturing-linked supply, installation, testing, commissioning, O&M, and associated civil, structural and evacuation infrastructure works. The project will be executed over 18 months, followed by 12 years of comprehensive O&M.
