PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) has incorporated two wholly-owned special purpose vehicles (SPVs) for implementation of intra-state transmission projects in Maharashtra.
These are Western Ghats PSP Transmission Limited for establishment of a 400 kV gas insulated switchgear Igatpuri/Murbad switching station in Thane district, and Hingoli West Power Transmission Limited for establishment of a 400 kV air insulated switchgear Hingoli West substation in Hingoli district. PFCCL has been appointed as the bid process coordinator for selection of a transmission service provider for establishment of these projects through tariff based competitive bidding process.
