Bajel Projects bags orders for Bellary-Davanagere transmission line and 765 kV AIS substation

Bajel Projects Limited has secured two major orders worth Rs 2 billion to Rs 3 billion each for transmission infrastructure projects.

The first order involves the Bellary–Davanagere transmission line package under the renewable energy evacuation scheme in Karnataka. The project involves construction of a nearly 70 km 400 kV quad double-circuit transmission line connecting the Bellary and Davanagere substations. The second order pertains to establishment of a new 765/400 kV air-insulated substation (AIS) at Pune East in Maharashtra, along with extension works at the existing Karjat and Lonikand-II 400 kV AIS substations.
