Inox Clean Energy has announced the acquisition of solar manufacturing assets of US-based Boviet Solar Technology LLC through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Inox Solar Americas LLC, in a transaction valued at approximately $750 million.
With this acquisition, the company will gain access to 3 GW of operational solar module manufacturing capacity in the United States based on tunnel oxide passivated contact technology. The deal also includes a binding agreement for acquisition of an additional 3 GW solar cell manufacturing facility, which is targeted for commissioning by December 2026.
