J&V Energy Technology Company Limited has signed an agreement to acquire a 187 MW portfolio of operational solar assets in Taiwan from a fund managed by Global Infrastructure Partners, a part of BlackRock.
The portfolio includes 42 solar plants across Central and Southern Taiwan with a total capacity of 187 MW. One of the key installations in the portfolio is the 49 MW Maxinsolar Chiayi solar farm, amongst the largest ground-mounted solar projects in Taiwan, built across private land in a subsidence-affected zone.
