The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has awarded a 10 MW grid-connected solar power project in Odisha to BNC Power Projects through a competitive bidding process.
The company emerged as the successful bidder with a quoted tariff of Rs 2.60 per kWh. The project will be developed under the build-own-operate model. SECI will execute a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with BNC Power Projects and supply power to GRIDCO Limited under a back-to-back arrangement. The project is scheduled for commissioning within 13 months from the effective date of the PPA.
