Pace Digitek Limited has received a letter of award (LoA) from NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL) for a 250 MW/500 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project.
The project will be implemented at Ottapidaram, Anuppankulam and Kayathar substations in Tamil Nadu. The contract is valued at Rs 7,099 million. The scope of work includes design, engineering, and manufacturing-linked supply, excluding power transformers. It also includes installation, testing, and commissioning of the project, along with related civil and infrastructure works. The project is scheduled to be executed within 12 months, followed by 12 years of operations and maintenance services.
