Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has announced the results of its auction for development of 500 MW/1,000 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Punjab.
Stockwell Solar secured 150 MW/300 MWh capacity at a tariff of Rs 335,000 per MW per month. Rama Reflection India secured 250 MW/500 MWh at a tariff of Rs 344,000 per MW per month, while Ceigall India won 100 MW/200 MWh out of the 500 MW/1,000 MWh quoted under bucket-filling method, at the same tariff. PSPCL will sign battery energy storage purchase agreements with the selected bidders for a period of 12 years from the date of commissioning.
