Toyo Kohan and HSE signs virtual PPA for onshore wind under Japan’s FIP scheme

Toyo Kohan Company Limited has signed a virtual power purchase agreement (PPA) with HSE Corporation for onshore wind power under Japan’s feed-in premium (FIP) scheme.

Under the agreement, HSE will supply environmental value equivalent to 18 GWh annually from three onshore wind power plants via its role as an aggregator. The initiative supports Toyo Kohan’s Eco Action Plan 2030, which targets a 50 per cent reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by FY2030 (vs. FY2019) and carbon neutrality by FY2050.
