Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Company Limited (APCPDCL) has entered into an agreement with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) to promote adoption of energy-efficient appliances through APCPDCL’s consumer outreach network.
Under the agreement, APCPDCL will promote EESL’s star-rated products, including light emitting diode bulbs, brushless direct current fans, induction cooktops and energy-efficient air conditioners, through its website and customer outreach platforms. The promotion activities will include QR codes, electricity bill messages, SMS and WhatsApp campaigns, as well as awareness drives at customer service centres. EESL will manage the e-commerce platform, product supply, logistics and after-sales support. The agreement will remain in force for an initial period of three years and may be extended further based on mutual agreement between the parties.
