Oman’s OETC commissions three 132 kV substations in Dhofar

Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC), the transmission network operator under Nama Group, has commissioned three 132 kV substations – Mudhi, Shahbaa Asayb and Al Mazyounah – in Dhofar Governorate, to strengthen grid reliability and support rising electricity demand in southern Oman.

The project also involved the construction of 267 km of 132 kV overhead transmission lines. The infrastructure upgrade is aimed at enhancing the efficiency and reliability of the governorate’s transmission network while supporting future electricity demand growth.
