The National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA) – South Africa’s state-owned transmission company, and the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at supporting localisation and industrial development linked to the country’s large-scale transmission network expansion programme.
Under the agreement, the two state-owned entities will collaborate to unlock industrial financing for NTCSA-verified suppliers and contractors participating in the expansion of South Africa’s electricity transmission infrastructure.
