GCL SI, Getz Energy partner for 1 GW solar module deployment in Thailand

GCL System Integration (GCL SI) and Getz Energy Company Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding for the planned supply of up to 1 GW of photovoltaic modules over the next three years to support Thailand’s renewable energy expansion. The agreement is intended to strengthen utility-scale solar deployment and support the country’s transition toward low-carbon energy systems. Under the agreement, GCL SI will supply photovoltaic modules and battery energy storage systems for large-scale and hybrid solar projects. Module deliveries will be implemented in phases aligned with project construction and grid connection schedules. The collaboration supports Getz Energy’s long-term renewable energy strategy and broader plans of parent company Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC) to expand utility-scale clean energy generation and intelligent energy management solutions.
