REC Limited has signed an agreement with the Electrical Research and Development Association (ERDA) to support quality assurance activities under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
Under the agreement, ERDA will carry out third-party testing of materials used in RDSS projects. It will also provide technical support and conduct training programmes. In addition, ERDA will help develop quality assurance frameworks for distribution infrastructure. The initiative aims to improve compliance with prescribed standards and enhance the reliability of power distribution networks.
