Vietnam Electricity National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), a subsidiary of state utility Vietnam Electricity, has invited banks to participate in competitive bidding to arrange financing for three transmission projects being implemented by the Northern Power Projects Management Board, a branch of EVNNPT. The 200 kV projects include the Mong Cai substation, the Vietnam–China border–Mong Cai transmission line, and the Ung Hoa substation and associated transmission line project. The financing arrangements are being sought through a competitive process, with proposal submissions due by June 4, 2026.
