AMEA Power, a UAE-based renewable energy company, announced the ground-breaking of a standalone 150 MW/300 MWh BESS project in Uzbekistan during the Uzbekistan Energy Week.
The BESS project is located in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city and is intended to strengthen grid stability, support the integration of renewable energy sources, and reduce dependence on fossil fuel-based peak power generation.
