Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received a notification of award (NoA) worth over Rs 210 billion from Meja Urja Nigam Private Limited. The order pertains to the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) package for the 3×800 MW Meja supercritical thermal power project Stage II in Prayagraj district, Uttar Pradesh.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the project. The EPC package is scheduled to be completed within 70 months from the date of the NoA.
