Evonith Steel has completed the acquisition of Indrajit Power Private Limited (IPPL) in Wardha, Maharashtra, for Rs 2.32 billion through the insolvency and bankruptcy code process.
IPPL operates an 85 MW coal-based power plant. The acquisition is expected to help meet Evonith Steel’s power requirements and support its near-term expansion plans.
