Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Varanasi Smart City Limited to strengthen electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in Varanasi.
Under the partnership, the two entities will jointly identify and deploy EV charging stations at key locations across the city, including public parking areas, transit hubs, municipal assets, commercial centres and tourist destinations. The initiative aims to expand access to charging facilities and develop a network focused on high-traffic and transit-oriented locations.
