State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Company Limited, a subsidiary of SGCC, has completed a major construction milestone on the 750 kV Santanghu–Rosequan D/C transmission line project in Xinjiang, successfully carrying out a complex crossing operation involving seven live power lines.
The 750 kV transmission project is a key component of the Xinjiang power grid’s 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) for main grid development and will serve as an important transmission corridor for delivering renewable energy generated in Hami to other regions. The transmission line extends from the 750 kV Santanghu substation to the 750 kV Rosequan substation, covering a total length of 165.677 km and comprising 353 transmission towers
