Powertrac Group has signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) for a 480 MW ground-mounted solar project under Gujarat’s distributed renewable energy programme.
The project, based on domestically manufactured solar photovoltaic modules, entails an estimated investment of Rs 21.55 billion and has a tariff of Rs 2.76 per kWh. Power from the project will be evacuated through the 11 kV feeder-level substation network.
