Juniper Green Energy Limited has commissioned India’s largest wind turbine by rotor diameter. The turbine, Envision’s EN-182 model, has a rated capacity of 5 MW and a rotor diameter of 181 metres.
The commissioning of the turbine marks a significant addition to the company’s wind energy portfolio and is expected to enhance energy generation efficiency. In addition, Juniper Green Energy has commissioned 82 MW of wind power capacity across Barmer in Rajasthan and the Surendranagar and Rajkot districts of Gujarat, further expanding its renewable energy portfolio.
