Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL) and the Ashoka Centre for a People-centric Energy Transition (ACPET) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a five-year collaboration to support sustainable, consumer-centric and future-ready power sector development.
Under the agreement, the organisations will jointly work on smart grids, clean energy technologies, energy storage, distributed generation, electric vehicles, and artificial intelligence and machine learning-based modelling applications. The collaboration will also focus on research, technical publications, policy engagement, and knowledge sharing. In addition, it will explore pilot projects, technology demonstrations, and capacity-building initiatives. A joint steering committee will oversee implementation and review the progress of the collaboration.
