NTPC Limited has incorporated NTPC (Mauritius) Energy Limited as its wholly owned subsidiary in Mauritius. The company has been incorporated with an initial capital of 1 million Mauritian rupees (about Rs 1.98 million).
The subsidiary has been set up to develop a proposed floating solar photovoltaic project with a battery energy storage system (BESS). It will also undertake other power projects and related businesses in the power sector in Mauritius.
