Serentica Renewables has announced plans to invest Rs 1 trillion in Rajasthan over the coming years to support industrial decarbonisation, with more than Rs 100 billion already deployed in the state. Rajasthan currently accounts for over 50 per cent of the company’s solar portfolio, with major projects in Bikaner and Jaisalmer and planned expansion to Bhadla. Serentica has an operational renewable energy portfolio of over 2,500 MW and more than 3,000 MW under construction. The company aims to supply 67 BUs of clean energy annually, helping abate 47 million tonnes of CO2 emissions.
