Baotou Power Supply Company, a subsidiary of Inner Mongolia Power Group, has energised the 500 kV transmission line project serving the 1.5 GW/9 GWh Baotou Weijun independent energy storage power station in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, enabling the project’s grid connection and commercial operation.
The milestone also marked the commissioning of the 500 kV Mingshanao energy storage station, the first customer built and self-operated 500 kV energy storage aggregation station in the Inner Mongolia West Power Grid.
