SJVN Limited’s 1,000 MW Bikaner solar power project in Rajasthan has been inaugurated by the Prime Minister. The project has been developed by SJVN Green Energy Limited at an investment of approximately Rs 54.92 billion.
The project is India’s largest single engineering, procurement and construction solar project under the domestic content requirement category at a single location. The generated power will be supplied to Rajasthan (500 MW), Uttarakhand (200 MW) and Jammu & Kashmir (300 MW).
