Vietnam Electricity National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), a subsidiary of state utility Vietnam Electricity (EVN), has energised the Nho Quan–Phu Ly section of the 500/220 kV Nho Quan–Phu Ly Thuong Tin transmission line project, marking a key milestone in the implementation of one of the country’s priority transmission projects.
This transmission project comprises an approximately 80-km transmission line, including the recently energised 44-km Nho Quan–Phu Ly section and the remaining Phu Ly–Thuong Tin section, along with 77 tower foundations and 50 anchor intervals, primarily concentrated in Kim Bang town. The Northern Power Projects Management Board (NPMB), a unit of EVNNPT, is managing the project on behalf of the investor, while Power Transmission Company No. 1 (PTC1) will operate the completed facilities.
