Vietnam Electricity National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), a subsidiary of state utility Vietnam Electricity (EVN), has been approved as the investor for the 500 kV Krong Buk–Tay Ninh 1 transmission line project, following the issuance of decision no. 3319/QD-UBND by the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province. The project involves the construction of a new 330-km, 500 kV D/C transmission line linking the planned 500 kV Krong Buk substation in Ea Kiet commune, Dak Lak province, with the planned 500 kV Tay Ninh 1 substation in Hung Thuan commune, Tay Ninh province.
