ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Renewtech Fifth Private Limited, has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for a 300 MW wind-solar hybrid project under Hybrid Tranche IX.
The project will be connected to the inter-state transmission system using the company’s existing transmission connectivity in high solar irradiation and wind resource zones. The project is scheduled to commence power supply on June 30, 2028, and will supply electricity to SECI for 25 years at a tariff of Rs 3.25 per unit. Following the signing of this agreement, ACME Solar’s PPA-backed portfolio has increased to 6,870 MW out of its total contracted capacity of 8,070 MW.
